Most Celtic traditional music was historically unaccompanied, but throughout the last 100 years, many new techniques and instruments have come along to provide a rhythmic and harmonic background for the ancient melodies.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss and learn some techniques for accompanying these melodies (primarily on stringed instruments) including right hand technique, chord choice and more.
