12:00–13:00, Sunday, Sala Wielofunkcyjna, Centrum Kultury Dworek Białoprądnicki (PL/ENG).
On Sunday, September 6th at 12:00 noon, I invite you to a unique folk dance experience, where the most important things are having fun, laughter, and charging your batteries with positive energy.
To warm up, I’ll introduce you to an Irish polka step to the musical piece “Dancing Bear.” Here, instead of smoothly spinning around the room in pairs, you’ll become a formation of powerful and fast strikes… (of feet on the ground 😉). Then, I’ll transport you to the energetic folklore from overseas, specifically to musical Québec (French-speaking province of Canada), full of energy, stomping, and joyful cries. Together, we’ll create dynamic yet simple figures “in a square.”
The workshop is open to anyone who enjoys group fun — regardless of age or dancing ability.
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothing,
- A change of shoes (preferably sports shoes),
- A bottle of water.
The workshop will be led by Beata Michniewska & Foireann group
