Los Paddys – “Ireland meets South America for a dance!”
Los Paddys is a fusion of Celtic roots and South American rhythms. This totally unique sound is used as a template to write original songs. Being based in Ireland, the band plays plenty of jigs and reels as well as other dance tunes. Traditional Irish instruments are represented by concertina, banjo, harp and bodhrán.
The group is headed by longtime Co. Clare songwriter Paddy de las Pampas. The superb trad expert and main melody player is Aisling NicUilleagóid.
The fantastic dancers Lenka Fairy and Andrea K showcase some high level Irish dance and Flamenco steps which makes the show very exciting and visually interesting.
